First time filling married, and first time using a tax specialist in VA, and the first time in years. This was the BEST experience I have ever had when it comes to taxes, Jessica was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, I don't care where I move to, I will travel each year to have her do my taxes. Thank you to my reference that referred me and THANK YOU JESSICA. My husband and I both felt a relief leaving out.

I usually use Jessica for my tax filing, but she was unavailable this year, so I was referred to Zahid. My experience with Zahid was far from satisfactory. When I initially met with him, he informed me that he needed more time due to software issues with Drake. I was taken aback when he made a phone call to support agents and proceeded to scold and berate the agent in front of me, even as she was trying to help him understand how to properly handle the tax return and use the software. I agreed to come back in about a week. However, during that time, I heard nothing from JMU Tax. When I called the office, they claimed they had called me numerous times, but I had no voicemails or missed calls. When I finally reached someone, I was treated very poorly by the front desk staff. They informed me my taxes were done and that I could come in to pay and finish the process. Upon arriving, I was shown to Zahid’s office. When I walked in, he greeted me in an unprofessional and nasty manner, questioning why I walked into his office like that. I informed him I was escorted in by his front desk staff and took a seat to go over my taxes. When I asked a simple question about the price to file the tax return and mentioned the issues I had with his front desk, a verbal argument ensued. Zahid did not appreciate me calling him out on the truth and told me not to bring my business back, accusing me of being ungrateful and that I should be thankful. I left the office without a clear understanding of how to file my payments. For this poor service, I paid $700—the most I have ever paid anyone to handle my taxes. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone.

Zahid is very nice guy together with the other staff when I went there with my husband and baby. He is really professional and knows what he is doing. Very credible and friendly. I will definitely recommend JMU to my friends! Zahid is so thoughtful to give a small token for my baby and nice pens for me and hubby!

I've been going to JMU tax in Manassas, VA for about 5 years and my tax agent is Jessica Flores. I used to live closer to Manassas and it was an easier commute for me. Now I live almost an hour away, but it's worth the drive. All of the staff there are so friendly and professional. I was referred from a friend to file my taxes there and now I always recommend JMU to anyone looking for a great place to file taxes.
