I met with Brain about two years ago. After meeting it seemed he was going to advise me on my taxes and do my taxes. Once I signed up, I was push off to his team where it was very hard to talk to any one by phone, I would get long emails with demands for information and complex questions, if I did not understand I could only write emails back, it was very hard to get anyone by phone to answer my questions about there questions. The two years I used him, I was pushed to the last minute and my taxes were rushed through. It seemed some information was missed and they claimed we could correct it later, but later never came. After reviewing my bill I saw they were charging over $4,000 for a business I thought we were going to cancel, because the business has no expense and no real income. When I called Brian to ask about this bill he strongly came back with there was a lot of work to do on this business having so many expenses and they had do so much work. He clearly did not know what he was talking about and it seemed like it was just a standard answer he might give everyone. I called him out on it and demand that he remove this bill, he refused and they refused to give me copy of any of my taxes until I paid, he did offer me a small discount on that account after he realized I caught him on word. While I was working with this firm I had IRS put two liens on me and State actually took money from my account. I forward these issues to their attention but very little help and action was taken, I had to keep asking about it. Nothing was resolved regard these liens and I had to hire a different cpa. I asked for a bigger discount because I have to get new CPA to resolve these issues but they said no. The cost for all the work was not very clear in the beginning but they ended up asking for over $9,000 for 1 year of taxes, with claims they will fix things later, IRS putting Liens, and State taking money out of my bank account, also with the strong feeling we missed many things because everything was rushed until the last minute because they were so busy with other clients. I demand I should pay $7k instead of $9k because of everything and I told them I would write a review of everything that has happened if they did not reduce it. He did not care about my review and so here I am keeping my word to him about what happened and writing this review.
